Best Negotiator of the Year
The first prize for the best negotiator
The negotiator who meets at least three of the following criteria will be eligible for the best negotiator prize, rewarding the negotiator of the year. The prize will be awarded on November 30, 2023 during the closing ceremony of the World Negotiations Day, at the Palais des Nations in Geneva.
To be selected, the nomination must meet at least one of the following criteria:
Conducting an ethical and responsible negotiation
Conducting a negotiation involving several stakeholders
Conducting a high-stakes negotiation and resolving the conflict with a solution acceptable to all parties present
Conducting a negotiation respecting and supporting the protection of human rights
Conducting negotiations mindful of tomorrow’s environmental challenges.
